Accessibility

Neighborhood

The Overlook neighborhood is unique among upscale Portland neighborhoods. There is very little traffic due to being located on a bluff (no through traffic). Many restored mansions from a different era are scattered in this wonderful community. If you love architecture, take a walk around the block. Many neighbors have been been in this neighborhood for decades, and love the quiet atmosphere at this location. Be respectful and quite when you are outside to maintain the peaceful nature of this neighborhood. Loud groups with late-night activities and/or parties are not a good fit for this location.

Guest access

The house is about 1/3 mile away from the nearest I-5 exit and a very short drive to Moda Center or downtown Portland. Public transportation is within walking distance (~2 blocks). The house is a corner lot so there is usually street parking as well as a long driveway. The street is extra wide as it used to be where the trolley passed 100 years ago.

What a great place for a family to stay. We especially loved seeing some of the history about the house in the photos in the dining room. It was so spacious. Everything was perfect super location.

We had a great stay. The home accommodated our large group so well with plenty of room to spread out, and also gather together in the lovely dining room and patio. The kitchen was very well appointed with everything you need to entertain a large group. The bedrooms were all very comfortable as well.
